9th August 2011 - Afternoon Entry

The old bill now is fleeing their beats
The mob in darkness steals onto the streets
Children armed with bottles and knives
Coming together to take some fuckers lives
They come prepared with their excuse
A black boy dead from racist abuse
They have no facts but who needs those
When you can loot and burn and steal some clothes
An old lady at her home hides her head
Recalling the war and the Dresden dead
Where the Luftwaffe failed these kids will succeed
The buildings are burning while London bleeds

Well put, sir.

I've thought for a long time the place is like a tinderbox waiting for a catalyst. If Cameron does not bring in the army, and soon, he'll live to regret it. It's all immensely worrying.
